About University of South Wales 

The University of South Wales is a public university in Wales that was established in the year,2013 and has its campuses in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd. This university was started when the University of Glamorgan merged with the University of Wales in Newport. This university is the second-largest university in Wales with regards to the number of students and offers a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

University of South Wales Campus

The university has a total of three campuses in all which are located in the Newport, Pontypridd and cardiff. Given below are the details of the different campuses.

  • The Campus at Cardiff: This campus has a small number of Courses in the faculty of the Business and Society. The Atrium Building is the main building at the campus that was originally opened by the university of Glamorgan in order to replace the Caerleon campus. The campus also includes a building that is named as the Atlantic House.
  • The campus at Newport: This is the newest campus built on the banks of River Usk. This was originally opened to house a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses but it now has a faculty of Life Educationa nad life sciences that includes teaching, social work along with some couses in the business
  • The campus at Pontypridd: This was the main campus of the university of Glamorgan and it is presently the largest campus in the University of South Wales with a number of facilities like games, sports centre and a students union. There are three parts of the campus and they are The Treforest, The Glyntaff and the Tyn y Wern.

  • Admission to this university can be done through online mode with the help of a representative agent.
