The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance or IIBF is a professional body that comprises all the banks, financial institutions, and employees working in them. Their main aim is in imparting professional knowledge with their flagship courses being Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and the Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB).

About IIBF

IIBF Full Form

IIBF or Indian institute of banking and finance is an institute that is a registered company whose function is to impart education in the field of banking and finance. IIBF Login

To login into IIBF, the following steps must be followed for a smooth process:

  1. First, one needs to enter the membership number which they must have received after the completion of the registration process. 
  2. Then, the candidate needs to type the password which was set by him/her at the time of registration. 
  3. Now, the captcha code will be filled as would be given in the third column.

IIBF Registration Process

For the IIBF registration process, the following steps need to be followed:

  1. Visit Institute’s website www.iibf.org.in 
  2. Click on online membership registration.
  3. Read instructions to applicants carefully, keep a ready scanned copy of the photograph, signature, and Id proof as per the required format.
  4. Fill up the online application form, upload photo, signature, and id proof and click on “preview and proceed for payment”.
  5. Select the payment option (credit/ debit, net banking) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
  6. On successful registration, a confirmation will be sent intimating the membership number and password via SMS or email id.
  7. If the registration is not complete or unsuccessful, an appropriate message will be displayed on the screen and the applicant has to follow the online registration process again.
  8. After successful registration, The member will be able to change his/her profile picture information except for the name, date of birth, photo, signature, and ID proof, for changing these items, members should contact their respective zonal office.

IIBF Admit Card 

The admit cards for IIBF BC/BF has been released. The Indian Institute of banking and finance or IIBF has managed the IIBF JAIIB for the candidates to supply them the admission in varied aspiring programs.

How to Download the Admit Card:

IIBF Exam

After completing the registration process, one can move forward to the JAIIB exam or junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers exam which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Bankers (IIBF). This exam is only open to the ordinary members of the Institute.

In the year 2020, the examination will be conducted on Sunday in the month of May/June and October/November as the exam is conducted twice in a year. The list of all the examination centers at which it will be conducted will be provided on the JAIIB online application form.

The eligibility criteria for this exam are as follows:

  1. The examination JAIIB is only open for the ordinary members of the Institute.
  2. The examinee must have passed his/her 12th standard in any discipline or its equivalent. Only the Institute, on its own discretion, can allow some candidate from supervisory or clerical staff cadre of the banks to give the examination on the personal recommendation of the manager of the bank or of the officer in charge of the bank’s office at which the candidate is working and in such case, the candidate need not be compulsorily qualified in 12th standard or any of its equivalent. 
  3. The subordinate staff of the recognized banking which are the members of the institute are also eligible to appear for the examination.

In the online application form for JAIIB, the candidate is expected to fill details such as mode, medium, center for the exam, and also the place of work, etc. Before submitting the application form check all the data and instructions carefully. You are also required to make the payment of the application form which can be paid either through credit/debit card or through the facilities of net banking. 

IIBF Certificate Exam

IIBF Certificate Exam is particularly designed in collaboration with the Institute for financial management and research, Chennai to familiarize candidates with the basic level issues arising in the financing projects, as well as risk analysis and risk mitigation methodologies with a specific emphasis on structured financing.

In recent years, project financing has become one of the core activities of banking. With the continuous growth in the economy and the revival in the industrial sector intertwined with the increasing role of private constituents in the field of infrastructure, more and more banks are entering into the project finance area.

IIBF BC Exam

IIBF BC or business correspondents(BCs) play an important role in achieving financial inclusion. The BCS basically acts as a bridge between the bank branches and the people of that particular area. A BC is basically the first point of contact and the front face of any bank branch to the people.

In order to make the BCs more effective, they need to be imparted to the desired level of knowledge. In this context, the Indian institute of banking and finance or IBF has launched a certificate examination which has these following objectives:

  1. The role/ functions of any bank
  2. The basics of banking operations and procedures 
  3. Roles and functions of all the BCs and BFs 
  4. Financial advising and counseling
  5. PMJDY, PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY

IIBF KYC Exam

The IIBF has also entered into a partnership with IFIM Business School in Bangalore which is improving their vast repertoire of courses provided. The courses provided will be in digital banking, AML-KYC, banking and finance, ethics in banking, etc.

The objective of the KYC exam are:

IIBF Mock Test

Hitherto, the IIBF Mock Test facility was being made available only to those candidates who had completed the registration process for the concerned examination. Now, a decision has been taken by the Institute to make the mock test facility, for some subjects, available to any serving bank employee on payment of the requisite amount. IIBF Result

IIBF has conducted the exam in the month of November and the candidates which appeared in the examination are waiting for the results. The results will be announced by IIBF on the basis of overall marks obtained in all the three papers. The result will be uploaded by IIBF very soon on its official website.
