Electronic and Communication Engineering

Electronic and Communication Engineering basically deals with, researching developing, designing, and testing the equipment that is used in various systems.

It is one of the majorly growing branches of engineering courses. The main concept of this course is to focus mainly on the communication part with the basic knowledge of the field of electronics. This mixed combination of electronics plus communication arose in around 1950s.

Courses in ECE

There are three criteria for admissions in ECE:

  • Diploma courses–  Polytechnic diploma of 3 years duration. (after 10th or 12th)
  • UG courses– B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) duration is 4 years duration. (after 12th)
  • PG courses – M.Tech (Master of Technology) degree of 2 years duration. (after graduation)
