The GRE or Graduate Record Test is a standardized test that is administered by Education Testing Services. The GMAT or Graduate Management Admission Test was developed by the Graduate Management Administration Council. This council has also been administering the test since 1953. Most Masters of Business Administration (MBA) aspirants tend to give the GMAT instead of GRE, while going through the application process for International universities. This is because the GRE is considered for more interdisciplinary MBAs, whereas the GMAT makes the application process more specialized.
