Abdul Kalam Scholarship is the scholarship organized in the memory of India’s former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. There is no single organization that implements it. Various state governments and educational institutions offer the scholarship in which all the financial requirements of the candidates who are deserving and in need are covered.

APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship

APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship is mainly for the minority groups of the country like Muslims, Christian, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsi, and Jain. The candidates who are of the Below Poverty line (BPL) can apply for the scholarship.

• The estimated family income must not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs.
• The candidate must take a merit-based government certificate.
• The applicant must be the Kerala state’s indigenous.
• The candidate should be of a minority group or from BPL.
