Alone GRE Scores cannot help in the admissions of any student. With the scores, other documents and exams are needed to be given as per the eligibility and requirement of the university. For every country, the amount which is needed to be paid for the GRE Exam depends on the currency of that country. 290 GRE Score is good or bad?

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination which is a competitive exam for the students who are interested in studying abroad. Each university has their own GRE score which the student needs to qualify.290 is an average score as GRE is a 80 marks test which has 4 sections of 20 marks each.

Is 292 a good GRE Score?

The maximum GRE score is 340. The Average GRE range is approximately 303 in which 150 questions are verbal questions and 153 questions are quantitative questions. Scores also depend upon the types, of course, the student has opted for.

For example, if a student is applying for MS in Computer Science course in some university and the course is a popular course then the GRE score value will be higher for MS Computer Science than any of the other courses. The average score is around 303 according to some universities but 292 is just 11 points below the average points.

Thus, 292 cannot be termed as good but average GRE scores. Still, many universities accept students with 292 GRE scores, some of them are:
