Applying to the best universities requires a lot of  hard work, and only about 5% get accepted in the top class universities.

1-MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT)

MIT was founded in  1861, MIT was initially a small community of  science lovers.

Researchers at MIT have contributed in development of  artificial intelligence, HIV, cancer, development of radar, and the concept of the expanding universe etc.

MIT is located along the Cambridge side of the Charles River basin in an area of 168 acres. The campus have beautiful landmarks designed by  architects like Alvar Aalto, Frank Gehry, and Steven Hollin.

MIT alumni  generates roughly $1.9 trillion in annual revenue.

2- STANFORD UNIVERSITY

It is situated 35 miles south of San Francisco and 20 miles north to San Jose.

Stanford University is located in the heart of Northern California’s Silicon Valley.  Companies like Yahoo, Google, Hewlett-Packard, and many other were founded by Stanford alumni and faculty. Stanford is also nicknamed as “billionaire factory”.

Stanford has one of the largest university campuses in the US with 8,180 acre land and is regularly ranked among the top three universities in the world. 

3-HARVARD UNIVERSITY

It was founded  in 1636,the oldest higher education institution in the United States, and is highly known for its influence, reputation, and academics as a leading university in not only the US but around the globe.

It is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 3 miles from Boston. Harvard is beautifully spread in  209-acre campus houses 10 degree-granting schools. In addition to that The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, two theatres, and five museums are also located inside Campus. It is also known for it’s largest academic library system in the world.

4- UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD

It is the oldest university in the English-speaking world, and it is so ancient that its founding date is unknown yet – though classes started there in early 11th century. 

In total there are 22,000 students at Oxford, around 40 per cent of them are international students.  

There are four academic divisions inside The Oxford University: 

Humanities, Medical Sciences;

Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences;  and Social Science.

5- CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (CALTECH)

The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) is located in Pasadena, California.

Caltech has many high-quality facilities such as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (owned by NASA), the International Observatory Network, and the Caltech Seismological Laboratory.

 The environment at Caltech is fiercely competitive and admissions process make sure only a small number of the most talented students are admitted.

The university was founded in 1891, as a preparatory and vocational school by Amos G. Throop spreading beautifully in an area of 124 acre.

6- IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON

It is ranked 9th in the world in the QS World University Rankings  2020. It focuses solely on science, engineering, medicine and business studies.

The University is located in South Kensington in London. There are two Royal Parks, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens within 10 minutes’ walk from campus. Travel here is also really easy as it is made possible by by three Tube lines and many bus routes.

7- UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO

It was founded  in 1856, the University of Chicago is a private university for research based in Chicago, United States. Outside of the Ivy League Colleges, Chicago holds a place in top-ten various national and international rankings. The alumni of this University are responsible for the development of many disciplines of academics, like as sociology, economics, law, and literary criticism.
